The song "409 In Your Coffeemaker" got its name from when Billie Joe was younger, he put 409 in his teacher's coffee.

While recording for Insomniac, Green Day was having trouble thinking of a name for song #3 (now called Stuck With Me). The song called "Do Da Da" off Shenanigans was originally called Stuck With Me, but there was a studio mix-up and the previously untitled song was labeled Stuck With Me. The band ended up liking it and keeping it, and the original song under that name was released on Shenanigans and given the nonsensical name "Do Da Da".
