- born february 17th 1972
- Billie Joe was the youngest of six kids in a working-class family in Rodeo, California
- As a child, Billie would sing at hospitals to cheer patients up
- At age eleven, Billie got his first guitar, a blue Stratocaster that his father gave him before he died. He still plays it to this day
- During his stay in school he was nicknamed "Two Dollar Bill", because he was supplying the school with joints for two dollars.

After recording the hugly successful AMERICAN IDIOT CD billie joe goes on tour with green day throughout this year! i predict a fantastic tour, one of the best! and for the future, i hope there are many more fantastic CD's / tracks / tours to come!!!
